The Tail End
A few thoughts from the editor
What a busy few months this has been!! Summer hit with a bang, and it seems to have been zipping on by since then. The nights are already cooler, and although I hate to say it out loudI have seen some leaves already turning colors! I actually love fall, but we all know that fall leads to winter... This has been a monster newsletter to put together so I apologise if I’ve missed anyones news or brags. Putting the summer months together seemed like a good idea at the beginning....once all the news started pouring in I questioned that decision! ;) In any event it seems like our members have had a very busy and successful summer. Dog Shows, Working Tests, Agility and Rally brags abound. We have some pretty talented dogs and people in our small club! My own dogs and I have been taking the summer off from trialing. Just the odd agility here and there, but mostly time spent just letting them be dogs. I think that all dogs (and people) benefit from that time off. I know my own dogs have really enjoyed the time spent running, and swimming, and playing. They don’t seem to be missing the training and trialing all that much! We’ll get back at it soon enough! ~Amanda

Next Months newsletter will be all about Obedience!!! So if you have anything you’d like to submit please do so!!!! I’d love some articles or stories about people’s first time in the ring!
