Audience: - During the Games, the Olympic and Paralympic Village will comprise residential apartments for thousands of athletes and officials, along with shops, restaurants, medical, media and leisure facilities. Safety/ Security: - Athletes will be transported from their apartments to the field of play by provided shuttles and from there will go to designated areas to prepare for their Game. EXTERNAL Size of Event: -6,000 spectators Transportation: - The Olympic Park is well-served by public transport with Stratford and Stratford International stations on the east side of the Park and West Ham station to the south. - As you approach the venue, please follow any signs showing the way or directions given to you by transport staff and volunteers. - Limited, pre-booked parking will be provided close to the venue for disabled spectators who are UK Blue Badge holders or members of an equivalent national scheme.

With so much going on and thousands of people arriving at the same time, you should expect to wait. In general, please try to bring as little as possible with you – it will help you get through security screening more quickly. One soft-sided bag is allowed per person – for example, a medium-sized handbag or small backpack (maximum 25 litres). The bag should be small enough to fit under your seat or on your lap.
