Training Day: January 18, 2013 Additional training will occur during competition but may be at another location depending on entry. Athlete and event entry deadline for all participants to be postmarked no later than December 19, 2012 using the forms provided. Forms may be mailed to USA Roller Sports, 4730 South St, Lincoln, NE. USA 65806, Faxed to 1-402-483-1465, or scan and email the forms to jwojnarowsky@usarollersports.org All USA club event entry fees to be paid by December 19th 2012. All other countries the fees are due by January 18th 2013, on the training day. All funds paid in US dollars payable to USA Roller Sports, 4730 South Street, Lincoln, NE 68506. This is an open entry competition to all skaters. Open Divisions (restricted by age only) Additionally, this event is the “Qualifying Event” for the 2015 Pan Am Games, thus qualifying the Countries Federations not the individual athletes. All Federations must send minimum, one athlete per Senior World Class division event (in particular, Men and Women Free Skating) to qualify your Federations participation in the Pan American Games to be held in Toronto, Canada 2015. Actual skating events to participate at the 2015 Pan Am Games are yet to be finalized. Remember, only the Federations are qualifying.

Entry Fees are as follows: $40.00 US for 1st event $25.00 US for each additional event $20.00 US for combined medal event (Example; figure entry $40, Free Skating $25, combined $20 = $85.00 US is due) Míni Infantil - up through 10 years old as of January 1st, 2013 Infantil – 10 through 12 years old as of January 1st, 2013 Cadete - 12 through 15 years old as of January 1st, 2013 Youth - 15 through 19 years old as of January 1st, 2013 Júnior - Follows CIPA Rules Sênior - Follows CIPA Rules Open Classic - 18 years old & up as of January 1st, 2013 Open Esquire - 35 years old & up All team event entry will be determined by the oldest member of that team. Any Skater or Team may challenge up to next division. All the Divisions (except Open Classic and Open Esquire) will have Figures, Free, Solo Dance, Solo Free Dance, Pairs, Team Dance and Free Dance. No Original Dance requirement will be skated. Open Classic and Open Esquire will have Figures, Solo Dance and Team Dance. Athletes may compete in Solo and Team if they so choose. (No Free Dance) Whoever skates Figures and Free in the same division will be entered into Combined (providing additional fee required is paid) and will receive a Combined Medal pursuant the rules of placement by virtue of tabulation. Whoever skates Solo Dance and Solo Free Dance in the same division will be entered into Combined (providing additional fee required is paid) and will receive a Combined Medal pursuant the rules of placement by virtue of tabulation. Whoever skates Team Dance and Free Dance in the same division will be entered into Combined (providing additional fee required is paid) and will receive a Combined Medal pursuant the rules of placement by virtue of tabulation.

Figures will be skated in the order as listed below. Loop figure will be skated as the last requirement except Junior and Senior. The foot (A/B) will be drawn on the first training day (January 18, 2013). Free Skating event requirements
Mini Infantil and Infantil will skate Short Program and Long Program. Short Program 2:00 +/- 5sec Long Program 3:00 +/-10 sec Short Program Axel One (1) toe assisted Jump One (1) 3 to 5 jumps combination maximum of two doubles One (1) spin One (1) 2 to 3 spin combination which may include a sit pin One (1) diagonal footwork sequence that must cover at least 3/4 of the floor *The elements can be skated in any order ** No triple jumps or Class A spins will be allowed. Long Program ** No triple jumps or Class A spins will be allowed. Cadete, Youth, Junior and Senior Will follow the CIPA Rules for Short and Long Program

Solo Free Dance

All the divisions will follow CIPA rules for Solo Free Dance *The draw for the Solo Free Dance will be done according with the results of the Solo Dance division events. Athletes who only skate Solo Free Dance will draw within their field of competitors and will skate in the first group.

Team Free Dance

Mini Infantil and Infantil 2:30 +/- 10sec Cadete, Youth, Junior and Senior will follow the CIPA Rules for Team Free Dance.

*Each country, except USA, may enter up to 5 skaters per division and discipline. Each Federation may send one (1) CIPA Judge at your own Federations expense. Housing, transportation and meals will be provided. Additional judges will be provided by USA Roller Sports. Federations who wish to send CIPA training judges, for experience, are welcome to do so and will be allowed to participate at their own expense. Competition Director will coordinate their events for trial judging training.
