The corporate world has finally accepted the fact that a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EI) is required for upward mobility on the corporate ladder. Today, there are no critics or detractors to this line of management thought. Leaders in corporate Asia have similar attitudes towards the value of EI. EI is that quality in a person that endears him / her to others. It is a synergistic combination of two intelligences -- intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence. A lucky small percentage of a given population is born with the required high level of EI. These people effortlessly win other peoples hearts, and are everybodys favorite. The majority of the people have to take a little bit of effort to raise their level of EI. This is possible because the information and skills are available. All that is needed is an understanding and practice of the principles of EI. This program brings participants through an understanding of the concept of Emotional Intelligence and then shows them how to acquire this useful skill.
