Lesson Plan - Integrated Education II Primary

The lesson took place on 25th November 2011. It was a summary of the lessons cycle connected with the “Decalogue on Rational Use of Resources”, which pupils learnt by heart in Polish language. The topic of the education field: For the Earth rescue The day topic: The Eco-man visit Main educational activities: Pupils freely talk about ecology – they can use specialist literature. Revising the knowledge about parts of speech. Creating ecological slogans. Making different objects from waste materials. Fighting with rubbish in the nearest area of the school. Predicted pupils achievements: • They can freely talk in full sentences on different topics • They read quietly texts with understanding • They are aware of the fact that the environment is endangered • They can circumstantiate their opinions • They understand the necessity of rubbish segregation • They can cooperate with other people • They can estimate the results of their work • They can create proecological slogans • They can distinguish parts of speech • They can use cyclopaedias, dictionaries and handbooks Educational standard Indicators Pupils distinguish and they can Pupils: properly use parts of speech: verb, - point to which part of speech noun, adjective, adverb and number given word belongs - arrange definition of the verb, noun, adjective, adverb and number - assign questions to the definite part of speech - fill empty spaces in sentences with nouns - point a verb and a noun in sentences - underline verbs and nouns in sentences

Preparing to the Pupils are divided into lesson. Welcoming, groups and choose their giving and explaining the leaders (pupils that know aim and the activities of parts of speech very the lesson well). Pupils draw small sheets of paper with written examples of parts of speech. Next they stand next to correct table (on each table there is a sheet of paper with the name of one part of speech) Pupils turn over the papers and they read written slogan aloud 2. Conversation with eco- Eco-man tells pupils the man reason of his coming to the lesson Pupils freely talk on the eco-man visit topic 3.
