You must be registered to vote by October 9 in order to vote on Election Day.

To check your voter registration, visit the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website at Find your polling location on the website, or by calling (216) 4433200. Some polling locations have changed, so please check in advance.

Early in-person voting hours begin on Tuesday, October 2. Hours of operation for all Boards of Elections throughout the state for early in-person voting will be the following*: October 2—5: 8am to 5pm October 9: 8am to 9pm October 10—12: 8am to 5pm October 15—19: 8am to 5pm October 22—26: 8am to 7pm October 29—November 1: 8am to 7pm November 2: 8am to 6pm Schedule as of September 17, 2012 *Hours subject to change due to pending litigation. Vote by Mail If you are a registered voter, you should have received a Vote by Mail application. Fill this out and send it back to receive an absentee ballot at your home. Your absentee ballot must be postmarked no later than November 5 and received no later than 10 days after the election. If you request an absentee ballot but then show up at your polling location, you risk voting provisionally. As always, call the Board of Elections with any questions.
