Course Description This course will cover the process and issues associated with the implementation of a computer application information system. Topics will include the processes associated with sponsor and stakeholder approvals, end user training, technical staff training, conversion from existing application(s) and integration into the information system production environment. This course will also examine the use of development and testing environments and the testing procedures related to the implementation of a computer application information system. Course Syllabus CMGT/445 Version 4 Charter Learning Team Instructions Business Case for Investment (Preparation) Begin working on the Business Case for Investment assignment due in Week Three. Write a 1,400- to 1750-word paper describing how to formulate and present the business case for technology investments. Include the following information: Prototyping environments and processes Testing design to include procedures and standards Sources of accessibility (components invested in, such as web services, internet services provider, etc., without which users and customers do not have access to needed information) Integration Include at least 3 to 5 references, including the textbook and course materials. Two references must be from periodicals and have identifiable authors. Specify in the paper how these articles relate to the subject matter in the paper. Create a 5- to 7-slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that describes the information gained by each team members professional organization paper.
