Re: Claire McCaskill
Dear Madame Secretary:
I am writing on behalf of Claire McCaskill, candidate for U.S. Senate from Missouri.
By letter on Apri119, 2006 Robert Walker, the Chief Counsel and Staff Director of
the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, requested of Ms. McCaskill further
information or clarification relating to her New Candidate Public Financial Disclosure I
Report.
We are filing today addenda to Ms. McCaskill's original report that include the
clarifications Mr. Walker requested. Enclosed please find:
I. Investment fund reports provided for each of the investment funds
identified in Mr. Walker's first request. These reports, which are made
available by financial advisers, illustrate that each fund holds no more than 5%
of its portfolio in the securities of anyone issuer. The reports also show the
sectors represented in the holdings of each fund, conglomerated into broad
categories. (For example, the "Information Technology" category would
include, among other sectors, computer services, the computer hardware, and
computer software.) These category breakdowns indicate that no more than
20% of the portfolio is held in any particular sector .
2. An addendum to Part I1IB of the report that discloses the underlying
assets or properties of all limited partnership interests identified in Mr.
Walker's request that have a single underlying asset.

3. Additional addenda to Part !lIB of the report that disclose the
underlying assets of the remaining limited partnership interests identified in
Mr. Walker's request. Each of these six interests -- Group Three Housing
Development Company, Lockwood Venture Partners 1985 LP, Missouri Tax
Credit Fund LP, Professional Planning Asset Management Company,
Seventeen West Lockwood Associates, and The Lockwood Group LLP - hold
numerous underlying assets, all of which are disclosed on the original Report.
Nonetheless, we have re-listed them in these addenda consistent with Mr.
Walker's request.
We have not reported values or income for the underlying assets on the addenda, as
their aggregate values and income to Ms. McCaskill andlor her spouse are shown
elsewhere in the Report as originally filed. In other words, the original Report listed
all of the entities on the attached addenda, included all corresponding values and
income. We are filing the addenda to respond specifically to Mr. Walker's requests.
We trust that this information provides the requested clarification or additional
information.
Please do not hesitate to call me should you have additional questions.
