Introduction No one, not even the best scientist in the world, can predict exactly how the world

will be in the year 2100, but each person has an opinion of their own. Some people still believe the world will end this year. Others believe part of the world be destroyed. But what I believe is different. I have a vision, a prediction of my own, about how the world will look like 88 years from now. The year 2100; flying cars, taller buildings, glass chutes with trains moving at the speed of sound and so many more advancements both technologically and economically. The world will be a very different place from what it is now. Looking at the rate the world advances each day, no one can assure us of what there will be in the world by the year 2100. The world from my eyes in the year 2100.

Body Today, the world is home to over six billion people. Countries with large populations like China and India are already in the stages of over population. The population of the world keeps on increasing, and remote areas continue to become concrete forests with developing buildings, homes and other large establishments. Trees are being cut down each day and levels of pollution in the atmosphere keep increasing. With the increase in population, more people will be using the common day to day necessities which use up electricity, fuel and water. Televisions sets, cars, lighting systems and so many more generally used appliances will be used more, and more pollution will be emitted.

My vision of the world in 2100. Well, transport will be so much more advanced and efficient, both public and private. Cars without wheels, hovering over hard rubber roads designed to prevent passenger injury to the greatest extent. Trains with pointed noses, like rockets, moving horizontally through glass chutes around the buildings so fast, you see it pass and have to wait for the sound. Planes which takeoff vertically with speeds exceeding the speed of sound, and spaceships, designed to travel to a different universe at the speed of light. Wow! People will wear ordinary clothing as they do now, but the temperatures will be quite high due to increasing rates of global warming so summer clothing will be most preferred. Same as human beings, robots will be walking the streets too, shopping, talking, interacting, and doing everything a human being does. People will be so much lazier in the future due to the high developments in technology. Everything a man has to do will be done for him by a machine and so the thinking capacity, working ability and health of the human race will all go down day by day while people doze off watching machines do all their work for them. By 2100, I believe NASA wouldve discovered alien races and other living organisms living on land and sea outside the earths atmosphere. People of that age will have the knowledge to accept and understand the existence of life beyond earth and humans may even communicate frequently with aliens. Just imagine, alien tourists coming to visit our planet, while we go to visit theirs. Fuel is becoming a major problem with resources of fossil fuels sinking to the very bottom. I believe, when it comes to the year 2100, scientist will have discovered new alternative fuels which do not already exist, cheap, efficient and environmentally friendly. With the rate of pollution emissions now destroying the ozone, no one will have to worry about going to the beach to get a tan. So scientists will make sure that the amount of pollution emitted each day is very near or equal to zero.

Holograms everywhere, information boards, bill boards, street signs, traffic lights, all projected by a tiny hologram projectors. In my vision of the future, I do not see poverty. I do not see racism, sexism or any other form of prejudice. I see people living in peace, every country and nation for themselves. However, very rarely, when a war does happen, there will be massive destruction. Large areas and millions of people destroyed in a single blow. Nuclear weapons, the worlds most dangerous development of weaponry, in the future, will be, in my vision, the most commonly used aspect of weaponry, destructive and dangerous, yet effective. Self aiming robot soldiers, three times the size of an average human being and one hundred times as strong, marching into war with no emotion or guilt of the millions of innocent citizens that may die with one blow of their inbuilt shooters.

See? This is the down side of a developing world. As well as all the interesting flying cars and stuff, in terms of war, completely disastrous. Sooner or later, some mad genius scientist is going to end up building a robot so advanced; itll be able to think like a human and make its own choices according to its will. Whos to say that this robot wont create an army of its own and end our race of helpless humans? Whos to say that robots wont end up taking over the world? No one. Absolutely no one can assure you that the world will be a safer place to live in 2100. All you can be assured of is that it is going to be very different from what it is now.

Conclusion The world from my eyes in 2100. Different, realistic and factual to a certain extent. There is one last thing to clear up though, no matter how advanced technology becomes, the power of Mother Nature can never be matched. No tool of destruction can ever stop a naturally occurring disaster. There may be high tech warning systems, but the effect of a natural disaster can never be stopped. Technology may be at a peak by the year 2100, but the power of Mother Nature can never be beaten, the world will always end up changing to how Mother Nature wants it to be!
