Reporting to the CIO, the Director of eBusiness Solutions will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of our eBusiness Technology Strategy (B2B & B2C) to deliver self-service, collaborative capabilities for Unisource’s customers and suppliers. The candidate will demonstrate a track record of extensive e-commerce success, with experience in selecting, managing, testing and implementing partner integration solutions, and innovative online marketing approaches to drive revenue growth, profitability and productivity. Leading cross-business project teams, the individual will be expected to maximize the opportunities offered in the e-Commerce space.

Job Responsibilities:

   

Develop a comprehensive eBusiness technology strategy which defines the necessary capabilities and infrastructure to support eBusiness needs for customers, vendors, and internal personnel across all of UWW’s business units. This strategy should consider key technologies such as: o Mobile devices o Content management o Vendor and customer collaboration tools o B2B and B2C commerce engines o SEO Oversee the implementation of this strategy from partnering with business stakeholders to developing cost justifications and negotiating requirements to implementation and testing for all e-Business capabilities. Coordinate, sequence and provide program-level management for project managers running multiple projects simultaneously; evaluate interdependencies between multiple initiatives, provide budget control of high level investments and ensure on-time delivery of projects. Serve as the selling organization’s primary contact to both provide new eBusiness suggestions and trends and improve existing eBusiness capabilities. Stay abreast of current industry eBusiness technologies and trends and assess the competitive eBusiness environment; formulate recommendations to keep the eBusiness strategy current. Work with limited direction within a complex and changing environment to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels. Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of management and clearly articulate ideas, issues, and recommendations.

Required Experience

    

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related experience. 10 plus years experience in managing end to end implementations of eBusiness solutions for large, public companies with high transaction volumes. Have hands-on experience with eBusiness solutions development, online marketing and supplier integration; experience working with organizations that sell technology solutions to customer or vendors. Extensive B2B implementation and/or Distribution industry eBusiness experience Extensive program and project management skills and significant exposure to sound system implementation methodologies and practices.
