Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (September 16, 2012) Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time Calling ourselves Christian is not sufficient. Allowing Jesus to lead as the Lord is necessary. Instead of praying for and pleading for what we want, sometimes we will need to suffer and take up our crosses in order to find abundant life. (Insert graphic 1106-0086)
362 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. In November we will be celebrating 50 years of Perpetual Adoration here at St Augustine. That is 50 years of someone making a commitment to spend one hour in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, every hour of every day. This is a huge blessing for the entire parish. Please join us and be a part of the Holy Hour Program. We need you! Contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 if you are willing to assist for just one hour.
