WEATHER POEMS
POEZII DESPRE VREME

THE FEAST by RUXANDRA BOTEZATU

As the sun arises higher than ever, The flowers thrill and dance In the old glade the feast begins Again in summer haze.

Grasshoppers, snails and butterflies, Moths, honeybees and dragonflies, Cockchafers, ants and ladybirds Stag-beetles, snails and fireflies Mosquitoes and centipedes all arrive Along the rocks, the grass, the straws and skies, Cheering once more, in search for nectar It’s time for bugs balls and delights.

SEASONS By IFRIM ANDREEA FLORENA

I am frosty Winter I bring cold in the house Frost in the trees and fog in the air On roofs and windows I hang icicles.

I drive away the heavy winter Give leaves to all the trees With me birds chirp and sing And my name is Spring.

I am rosy Summer A happy girl with peach skin I wear cherries at my ears And make people have no fears.

I bring a wealth Of fruit and greens Flowers and leaves Fall off the trees Autumn is my name.

SUMMER SUN BY PANCA RARES-CONSTANTIN

Great is the sun, and here it comes In the sky without clouds, And in the grey and gloomy days Through the thick rain it shines its rays.

Though closer still the blinds we pull To keep our shady room cool, Yet it will find a chink or two To slip its golden fingers through.
