Online Pharmacology Demonstration Course Syllabus

Open the Course IVMS ACVBMS is an upper-level undergraduate course designed for Pre-Med, Medical Students and Biomedical Science Majors. IVMS ACVBMS examines the basic medical science behind the uses of Autonomic and Cardiovascular drugs, covering a variety of common prescription medications. There clinical use, mechanism of action, and important side effects of each class of drugs are explored within the context of the body's organ systems. Also, this course is part of a sequential learning-track from Advance High School, to pre-med leading to medical students sitting successfully for their USMLE Step 1.

As much as possible, this web site strives to demonstrate the IVMS ACVPHARM web site and course materials. Please note that the actual site has some differences which are mostly due to the secured web environment. The full content is available for download only to those students who are taking or have taken the course. The syllabus and schedule listed here are for reference only and are the documents used for the course as given in the past. Details such the timing of exams as well as assignments is likely to change. Other portions of the course, such as topics covered, are expected to mostly stay the same.
