Mr. Shetty started the concept dial a barbera premium saloon with all the frills in the city of Chennai. The Mobile saloon: A Tempo traveler were reconverted in to luxury saloon. With air- conditioners, loft tanks, spick & span interiors and quality of cosmetics.

Brand Name
We have decided to keep the brand name for this concept of mobile hairdresser CUTZ Below shown is how the logo of the firm look. The brand name has been incorporated into the logo of the firm so that it can be easily related.

Blue colour has been extensively used in the logo due to the following reasons: Projects Calmness or serenity Most preferred by men People are more productive when surrounded by blue Associate with water and peace It is productive &not invasive Believed to soothe

Employee details

The barbers happen also to be drivers, dressed in neat white apparel. In total there are 7 vans each with a driver cum barber. So the total number of personnel in the firm are as follows Nine employees: 7 Barbers, 1 Receptionist - Ms Kothari, 1 Manager - Mr. Murli

The barber are recruited from good saloons in the city. Their compensation package is (50:50), fixed and variable plus tips from customer.

Employee training Workshops and Seminars To keep up with current hair trends, hair stylists will be made to attend workshops, conferences and seminars to learn more about the industry and interact with peers. Thousands of national and international beauty shows are hosted annually and allow hair stylists to learn new tricks and techniques, as well as network. They work efficiency of the stylists will automatically increase as their skills will improve with such training.

Target Customer We are targeting a niche market .the details of the target market are as follows: Software professionals. Young urban executives. Residing in posh areas of the selected City.

Operation time The service will be provided as per a well scheduled plan ,in which the service begins early morning 6 a.m. till 9:30 p.m. at night in which the employees will be given a break from 11 a.m. to 4 pm. Monday will be a non working day.

Solving current issues of customers relating to more waiting time, rejection etc

We are currently facing many problems like not being able to service customers in time, refusal of order and not being able to satisfy our loyal customers.

To overcome this problems we have decided to tie up with regional saloons ,who would be serving our customers whom we cannot serve due to lack of time. This saloons will have to pay us a 10 percent of commission on each of our customer.

We have also decided to offer special schemes to our loyal customers. With future plans to expand in the business we aim at serving our customers on time and providing them a delightful experience.

Future Plans In future we plan to increase the number of vans and employees. We would even undertake marketing and selling beauty products and hair care products from our saloons. For the time being we have decided to target the male segment, and do not plan to enter the female saloon segment. We would mainly focus on serving our customers on time and providing them a delightful experience.
