ANALYSIS: Staff is comfortable with the direction the design and improvements to the Cotton Bowl with the understanding that the concourse finishes are still being determined and should come back for Landmark Commission review. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: 1) Renovate concourse.- Approve with Conditions - Approve drawings dated 9/19/12 with the condition the final color and finish selections are submitted for Landmark Commission approval with the finding the proposed work is consistent with the preservation criteria for the Cotton Bowl Section 5.3, and it meets the standards in City Code Section 51A-4.501(g)(6)(C)(ii). 2) Replace chain link fencing on 1947 and 1948 facades and in concourses.
