DARRYL LEECH • Vice President & General Manager Darryl Leech is an industry veteran with more than 38 years experience at Marriott, Hyatt, Lincoln, and Radisson Hotels. He was instrumental in opening the Radisson, seamlessly converted to the Marriott Augusta and successfully oversaw two additions with more than 100,000 sq feet of meeting space. An active member of the Augusta Community, he has served on the Opera board, Convention and Visitors Bureau board, President of the Augusta Sports Council, affiliated with Augusta Symphony, and Augusta Rotary.

GREG DESANDY • Director of Sales and Marketing Greg graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Advertising. His 25 years sales & marketing experience includes Westin, Radisson Hotels in Southfield, MI, Detroit, MI, Kalamazoo, MI, and Rosemont, IL. He has been at the Marriott since 2004. He specializes in the Masters Golf Tournament market, and the entertainment and sports markets. He is an active member of GSAE, GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club Board of Directors, and downtown Kiwanis Club.

ROSETTA EPHRAIM • Senior Sales Manager A native of Augusta, Rosetta has worked her way up the sales department, starting as an administrative assistant 17 years ago. She has one of the longest tenures of any associate at the hotel. She is active in several area churches, a member of the Fraternal Executives Association, and Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals.

CAROL D. HALL • Association & Government Sales Manager Carol started in the hotel industry with Holiday Inns (IHG) while attending Auburn University at Montgomery. She moved through the ranks from front desk, accounting then into sales management after an extensive Management Trainee program in San Antonio with Holiday Inns. She has worked at the Desoto Hilton in Association sales, Starwood Hotels including the Westin North, W Atlanta Perimeter, Sheraton Buckhead and then Crowne Plaza Ravinia. She focuses on the Association and SMERF convention markets. February 2012 marks 7 years with the Augusta Marriott as the Atlanta-based sales manager for the Association and Government markets. She is active with the Georgia Society of Association Executives, Society of Government Meeting Professionals – Peach Chapter, PCMA Southeast Chapter and GA Chapter Meeting Professionals International.

CHARLES LIVINGSTON • Catering Sales Manager Charles has been with the Marriott hotel for 10 years and has more than 20 years' experience working in the hotel catering business. He is active with the Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and was named Ambassador of the Year in 2010.

SHARON KOON • Catering Sales Manager Sharon studied at the University of South Carolina, is a certified wedding planner and has worked at The Partridge Inn and the Sheraton (now Doubletree). She has extensive experience in handling the details of weddings, including ethnic Indian weddings. Ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, receptions, brunches and showers.

RICK HARRINGTON • Director of Event Services Rick was formerly the hotel director of food and beverage at the hotel. He's worked for multiple hotels in Indianapolis, IN, Daytona Beach in addition to working in restaurants, the food service and management business.

The Augusta Convention Center MARISA BARNES • Convention Service Manager A native of Augusta, Marisa was one of the first 5 associates hired at the Marriott hotel over 20 years ago. She specializes in taking ideas to reality and works on large high-level complex programs with production quality staging, music, and exhibits.

BILL TOLBERT • Director of Security & Parking Bill Tolbert has been with Augusta Marriott since 2004, having seven years prior experience in Disney World Customer Service management. He has a degree in Architectural Design, Degree in Customer service from Disney University and Certification in Private Investigation/Security.

DON FULLER • Director of Finance Don has more than 32 years experience in manufacturing a wide array of products and services with four different companies. He majored in accounting with a minor in General Business and History from Western Michigan University. Moving to Georgia in 1978, he has been controller of the Augusta Marriott since May 2004.

JANET PIERCE • Director of Human Resources Janet has a BS in Criminal Justice from Auburn University and Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR). She has more than 12 years in the staffing business with a Fortune 500 Company and 11 years in the hospitality industry handling all aspects of HR from policy development, employee relations, benefits, hiring to training. She is an Executive Committee Team Member and active member and past president of the CSRA HR Chapter.
