Job Description Program Associate

1. General Summary Organization and coordination of the Dual Degree and Exchange program with French, regional and international partner institutes, related organization e.g. French Embassy, CampusFrance, Alliance Francaise, etc. as well as different internal departments in AIT for all logistic, academic and administrative aspects for both outgoing AIT students and incoming students from partners. Follow up day-to-day matter of students and day-to-day contact with current as well as prospective partners. 2. Functions & Duties Student-related AIT outgoings to French and international partners Updating places available for dual degree and exchange students at French/international partner institutions Announcement of dual degree and exchange recruitment and organization of dual degree and exchange selection including coordination of AIT-French Cooperation Scholarship recruitment/selection Coordination with AIT-French Cooperation of students preparation and travel to France for Letter of Acceptance, Visa Application, Accommodation and airport pick-up arranged by CNOUS Organization of orientation before departure: academic awareness e.g. course and credit transfer, study plan, research study, etc., everyday life awareness e.g. 2 month deposit for rent, etc., clearance at AIT

French, regional and international incomings to AIT Coordination of Admission procedures (August & January semesters) between AIT Admission and dual degree/exchange students from partner institutes Working in close collaboration with AIT Registry Office and SOM Student Affairs Office on: Course registration, Course adding/dropping, Credit transfer, Clearnance Providing information and processing for study plan and credit transfer Follow-up academic requirements of AIT and partner institutes Working in close collaboration with partner institutions in following up academic matters, providing information on the exchange program and academic issues etc.

Administration-related Data base updating: present incomings and outgoings, alumni, partner institutions and filing students academic records Corresponding with current partners and interested institutes who want to explore possibilities of collaboration with AIT Coordinator with SOM Deans Office for a visit by French, regional and international partner institutes at AIT, as well as prospective partners seeking opportunities for new collaboration Coordination with related organizations e.g. French Embassy, CampusFrance, Alliance Francaise, etc. Working in close collaboration with SOM International Relations and Deans Office Review and comment MoUs with other Dual degree and exchange partners.

3. Job Specification 1) Proficiency in both French and English

- Knowledge of SOM curriculum and requirements as well as the degrees requirements of the partner institutes 2) Good interpersonal skills and service-minded Master degree First-hand experience with French education system and studying in France
