Equine Activity Release and Hold Harmless Agreement 1. The undersigned competitor and any signing parent or guardian hereby have read and understand, and freely and voluntarily enter into this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement with Showcase Equestrian Center, LLC (Company), understanding that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement is a waiver of any and all liability(ies). 2. I understand the potential dangers that I could incur in mounting, riding, walking, boarding, feeding said horse; including, but not limited to, any interactions with other horses. Understanding those risks I hereby release that Company, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees and anyone else directly or indirectly connected with that Company from any liability whatsoever in the event of injury or damage of any nature (or perhaps even death) to me or anyone else caused by or incidental to my electing to mount and ride a horse owned or operated by either myself or Showcase Equestrian Center, LLC. 3. I understand and recognize and warrant that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement, is being voluntarily and intentionally signed and agreed to, and that in signing this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement I know and understand that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement may further limit the liability of equine professionals to include any activity, whatsoever, involving an equine, including death, personal injury and/or damage to property. 4. I recognize and agree that I know which equine professional(s) I will be working with, and acknowledge that I agree said equine professional(s) has/have made reasonable and prudent efforts to determine my ability to engage in the equine activity, and has/have sufficient knowledge of my equine and horseback riding skills as to relieve, release and hold harmless said equine professional(s) from any continuing duty to monitor my equine activities. 5. I further voluntarily agree and warrant to Release and Hold Harmless this (these) equine professional(s) from any liability whatsoever, including, but not limited to, any incident caused by or related to said equine professional’s (s’) negligence, relating to injuries known, unknown, or otherwise not herein disclosed; including, but not limited to, injuries, death or property damage from: mounting; riding; dismounting; walking; grooming; feeding; use of horse barn, paddock, trails or horse ring, in any capacity; falling off horse whether horse is bucking, flipping, spooked; or my failure to understand any equine professional’s directions relating to my riding or otherwise use and control, or lack thereof, of my horse or the horse I have been assigned to. WARNING: Under Tennessee law, an equine activity or equine sponsor is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. INFORMATION: 1. Small arena is only size Dressage arena available 2. Show management reserves the right to divide or cancel classes or refuse entries for cause deemed sufficient by show management. 3. Opening Date: 4 weeks before show. Closing Date: Sunday before show 4. Changes: $10 administrative fee per change after closing date if opening is available. 5. No packet will be issued until secretary has received a signed original entry form, coggins and all entry fees. 6. Award Ribbons: Six (6) ribbons in each division of Combined Tests (Dressage/Stadium Jumping), 3 Phase Event Competition, and Jumper classes. Dressage only ribbons awarded according to percentage score 7. CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING IS AVAILABLE AFTER SHOW 8. The Cross Country course will be officially open at 4:00 pm on the Friday before the show for walking. Changes on the course may be made up until 4:00 pm, so please check your course after the official time of opening. 9. Riders are responsible to check with the office or the announcer for any ride time changes. 10. SCHOOLING SHOWS WILL RUN ACCORDING TO USEA RULES FOR EVENTING


EXCEPT WHERE OTHERWISE SPECIFIED HEREIN. The Cross Country courses are ALSO available daily for schooling WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS at $15/per/horse/rider. Please call ahead to notify before going out to school. Hold Harmless Release forms must be signed before riding.
