Research shows that business success is closely tied to the ability of business leaders to build e ective relationships with employees, colleagues, customers and suppliers.

The JCU Bachelor of Business has a strong focus on developing people, leadership and negotiation skills.

You can choose to study a broad-based business degree or a specialised degree that allows you to concentrate on speci c areas. You have the option to combine any two elds of interest from a diverse range of study areas, and you can change your choice at any time in your rst year. MINIMUM ACADEMIC AND ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


The entrance requirements di er from country to country but in general applicants must have satisfactorily completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent. Successful completion of the JCU Singapore Foundation Program will also satisfy the entrance requirement. IELTS 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5)/TOEFL 550 (with a minimum written English test score of 4.0) and above; or Satisfactory completion of JCU Singapore English Language Preparatory Program (ELPP). Students who have successfully completed 2 years of full-time study in English medium may satisfy the English language requirement.

Advance Standing
Credit exemption may be granted for students with tertiary quali cations from recognised institutions on a case-by-case basis.

Bachelor of Business and Environmental Science

It is well recognised that businesses must have robust environmental strategies to succeed in the 21st century.
Chief Executive O cers have to consider carbon footprints, sustainable practices, global climate change, and waste management issues.

These are environmentally sensitive issues which have resulted in an increase of related legislation. In addition, some business activities require a knowledge of the environment. In the aquaculture industry, for example, biological knowledge is required to raise sh, prawns, algae and other crops. But there is no substitute for a good business plan. The bene t of this degree is that it gives you the knowledge and skill to do both. This multi-disciplinary program uses the universitys strengths in business, environmental and marine science. Students are provided with core knowledge and training in the application of business and environmental principles. The course provides a fundamental background in business, environmental and marine sciences that is essential for a holistic approach to business operations.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC AND ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


The entrance requirements di er from country to country but in general applicants must have satisfactorily completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent, with chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects.*
The English requirement is the same as the Bachelor of Business Program. *Students who do not have the two compulsory subjects may be considered for admission on an individual case-by-case basis.

Master of Business Administration

Our one year MBA consists of 12 subjects chosen from a wide spectrum covering all elds of contemporary management.
This gives our students exibility of choice that enables them to choose subjects which meet their career objectives.
Regardless of their chosen combination, students will be equipped with advanced knowledge, understanding and analytical skills for managing in the 21st century.

The program includes an introductory Business Issues subject equipping future business managers with an understanding of current business issues, the impact of those issues on business and a new capstone project component involving documented project management processes for the plan team to achieve project goals, a group pitch, and a plan document as core requirements. Additionally, the program provides a theoretical framework for day-to-day management tasks such as analysis, planning and decision making.

Accounting is a vital business role, critical to e cient economic function around the world. The Master of Professional Accounting delivers accredited courses to graduate students in key areas of accounting and nance.
