UNITED NATIONS CELEBRATION AT HCECi in OCTOBER


October is universally known as the United Nations Month. The Araling Panlipunan Area of Holy Child Educational Center, Inc. offers an avenue for the HCEcians pupils, students, teachers and parents to inculcate the value of international peace, security and friendly relations among the allies of the United Nations. The HCECi, upholds the UN charter to overcome social , economic, humanitarian and cultural challenges. This months highlight is the Famous Festival Dances of the World. PROGRAM TITLE: United Nations Month : Celebration 2012 OBJECTIVES: This event aims to meet the following end results: 1. to increase the awareness and involvement of pupils and students in upholding human rights. 2. to develop pupils/students full potentials in the field of literary writing, arts, music and acting parallel to cultural and social beliefs. encourage pupils/students in 3. HCECi IMPLEMENTS WASTE SEGREGATION


In support to the city ordinance on waste management and as part of its social responsibility, the school will strictly enforce waste segregation effective Monday, October 1, 2012. All waste materials/ garbage shall be sorted into 3 categories with corresponding trash bin, following this classification:
(1) DRY (NONBIODEGRADABLETHOSE FOR SALE AT THE JUNK SHOPS) (2) NONBIODEGRADABLE (DI- NALULUPA) (3) BIODEGRADABLE / COMPOSTABLE (NALULUPA)

OCTOBER is ROSARY MONTH


HCECi although not a Catholic School adheres to the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church as such the school has different religious activities such as the First Friday mass, devotion to Sto. Nio etc. Although the rosary could be recited anytime, the month of October is especially devoted for the rosary. For the whole month we shall be praying the rosary daily. A Few Information About the Rosary: A perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation.
