Keyvan Jahanbakhsh to their Team of Experts The Spine & Pain Institute of New York is proud to welcome Dr. Keyvan Jahanbakhs h, MD to our panel of esteemed physicians and pain management specialists. He ad ds his expertise in interventional pain management to the repertoire of pain rel ieving treatments that the institute is known for. Staten Island, NY, October 18, 2012 -- Dr. J, which is what his patients refer t o him as, is a native of San Diego, California. He earned his graduate degree fr om the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After the successful completion of m edical school, Dr. J completed a surgical internship followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center, New York, NY. He then completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY. Dr. Jâ s quest for learning and research is ongoing. In addition to his medical train ing, Dr. J has a background in biomedical engineering. Using his medical and eng ineering expertise as a lead, he has completed research at the University of Cal ifornia, San Diego in the fields of anesthesia, orthopedics, ophthalmology and c ardiology. Dr. Jâ s practice and treatment plans are tailored to ease the specific ailments of e very patient. His holistic approach is multidisciplinary as he combines his surg ical and engineering training to offer state of the art and proven treatment mod alities for each of his patients.
