After school, I walked into the living room and saw bright red and
green balloons floating in the air. First, I smelt the sweet aroma of
chocolate cupcakes baking in the oven. Then, I tasted the cold, delicious
ice cream cake with Oreo pieces in the middle. All of a sudden, I heard a
balloon pop and then a little baby screamed at the top of his lungs. I felt
the heat from the candles burning when my mom brought me my cake.
In short, I knew this would be the best birthday ever since mom made all
