Catholic Charities USA Responds to Tornado Damage
Coordination underway with Catholic Charities agencies in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma
Alexandria, VA – Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) and its agencies in impacted areas have taken immediate steps to respond to the aftermath of last weekend’s tornadoes in Wichita and Salina, Kansas; Thurman and Creston, Iowa; Lincoln, Nebraska; Norman and Woodward, Oklahoma. “We are coordinating with our agencies to ensure that they have the support they need,” said Rev. Larry Snyder, President of CCUSA. “We pray for those impacted by these sudden and devastating storms; as always, we stand ready to assist during immediate and long-term recovery efforts.” CCUSA, among the nation’s largest human services organizations, has provided nationwide disaster response services for decades.
