MD JUAN ENTERPRISES Press Release October 29, 2012 Filipino Jeepers Organize 2nd Seasons Jeepings The Yuletide

e Season is fast approaching. As a gesture of gratitude for our Jeepers nationwide and to improve camaraderie among them, MD Juan Enterprises will organize a special occasion which they have been anticipating, the 2nd Seasons Jeepings. This annual event is for Jeepers who belong to the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of the Philippines (MVCCP). The event will start at 8:00 am on December 08, 2012 at Dinggalan, Nueva Ecija and will be hosted by the Nueva Ecija Chapter. This event will also serve as both an annual reunion and a Christmas Party for them. We therefore will make sure that this will be a very memorable event for them. The MVCCP is an organization of Filipinos who share a common love and passion for the ultimate American military icon the Jeep. Its membership profile shows MVCCP is composed of Jeep collectors, restorers, enthusiasts, assemblers, traders, retired military men and just plain hobbyists. It has chapters in Ilocos, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Metro Manila. For the 2nd Seasons Jeepings, we expect to have around 200 bonafide Jeepers to have a merry celebration before the year ends. They are expected to bring along not only members of their family but also some 60 of their treasured Jeeps with them. During the first-ever Christmas get-together of Jeepers last December 3, 2011 held at the Fort Stotsenberg, Clark Air Base, Pampanga, about 150 Jeep lovers were gathered together in one place together with some 50 of their wonderful vintage military machines. The event started with a motorcade of all the vintage military Jeeps joined in by a couple of brandnew Jeep Renagades from the local dealer. Another highlight was a re-enactment of a World War II battle, complete with reenactors and MVCCP members in their vintage Japanese and American Army uniforms and Jeeps. Pyrotechnic explosions added realism to the action-packed reenactment. After lunch, awards were given to the Most Authentic Jeep, Best Dressed Jeep, Oldest Jeep and the Best in Uniform (individual and group). The event was capped by a raffle of exciting prizes and fellowship. This year, we do hope that through this endeavor, we will continue to sustain the Filipinos romance with the Jeep.
