APAC is a Southeastern road building company. Initially owned by Ashland Oil, they are now a subsidiary of Oldcastle Construction. Their operations include asphalt production, concrete production, as well as paving and bridgework. • • • • • • Month End Close – Prepared journal entries for all transactions occurring at our division. Inventory Maintenance – Recorded inter-divisional transfers of asphalt plant parts, as well as monthly inventory count Procurement / Asphalt Plant Construction – Created cost assessments for the creation of new asphalt plants in coordination with Engineers and various APAC geographic divisions. Prepared expense reports for the Engineers or other travelling staff. Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable – Pay bills incurred through other divisions, and via inter-company billing recoup these costs to my division.
