COLORADO GAME NOTES: COLORADO/MURRAY STATE
• Colorado improves to 4-0 to start the season for the first time since 1998-99 (all four played at home); the last 4-0 start with at least one road game was 1994-95. • The Buffaloes won their first an in-season tournament since the 2002-03 season at Charlotte, N.C. (Pepsi Classic) winning all three games in three days. • CU is 9-1 in its last 10 games dating back to the Pac-12 Tournament, following two road losses to end the 2011-12 season (at Oregon, at Oregon State). • Head Coach Boyle has won 12 neutral court games, he trails Sox Walseth (1956-76, 33 wins) and Ricardo Patton (19952006, 18 wins) in school history. • CU improves to 2-0 all-time against Murray State and 6-1 all-time against the Ohio Valley Conference. • Shot a season-best 53.2 percent from the field (25-of-47); 25 made FGs tied season-best (25 vs. Baylor). • In the past three seasons under coach Tad Boyle, the Buffaloes are 15-6 in a tournament setting, including winning eight of their last nine games dating back to the Pac-12 Tournament last season. 2010-11 – 6-3, 1-1 in Vegas, 2-1 Big 12 Tournament, 3-1 NIT 2011-12 – 6-3, 1-2 in Puerto Rico, 4-0 Pac-12 Tournament, 1-1 NCAA 2012-13 – 3-0, 3-0 in Charleston • Second time this season where four players netted double-digits, both wins (Dayton). • First game this season where opponent shot over 40 percent from the field (28-of-62, 45.2%) Andre Roberson • Scored a season-best 16 points, his first game this over 10 points; also led CU in rebounding with nine. • Third straight game Roberson has led the team in rebounding (61 st career) Askia Booker • Scored a career-high 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field – also career highs; first 20-point scorer this season. • Named the Charleston Classic Most Valuable Player, averaged 19.3 points with 3.0 assists, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 rebounds per game, also shot 51.1 percent from the field (24-of-47) and made seven 3-pointers over the three games. Had a career-best four steals against Murray State. • Led all scorers in all three games in scoring (game-high). Spencer Dinwiddie • Career-high 10 made and 11 attempted free throws against the Racers; season-high 14 points. Jeremy Adams •Made first shot this season … a banked 3-pointer in the first half, tying his career-high for treys in a game.
