11 ( 20 mrks ) Force and pressure : Fluid in motion : pressure and velocity of flow. Bernoullis principle, lift force, Explanation of lift force using aerofoil Suggestions to make a water rocket that can reached high altitude.

12 ( 20 mrks ) Electromagnetism: What is direct current ? Specifications of motor, explain how a motor works . Calculation of current in motor , Choosing a fan that can produce fast cooling effect. or transfomer Choose the transformer that that is of high efficeinecy .

PAPER 3 :

1 Light : Experiment to investigate relationship between u and v.

A straight line graph passing through origin fro graph uv against ( u+v ) or can also be refraction of light ; Read also the snell law : how to read a protractor to find angle of incident and refraction.

2 Graph of voltage across a dry cell against current to find e.m.f and internal resistance. Calculation of gradient of graph.

3 Heat : Specific heat capacity To investigate the relationship between mass, m and temperature rise at constant electrical energy supplied. Using immersion heater and thermometer , etc.

4 Waves : Refraction To investigate the relationship between wavelength and depth . Using ripple tanks and accessories.
