NOVEMBER 19, 2012
Happy Thanksgiving! This important holiday gives each of us the opportunity to pause and reflect on all the
blessings God has given us. At Sacred Heart, we have much to be thankful for:
• 257 respectful students that are putting Jesus First each day as they interact together throughout the day.
• Dedicated staff that go above and beyond for the benefit of the students.
• Parents that support Catholic education.
• A parish that is celebrating their 100th anniversary and is supportive in providing a Catholic education to the
students of SHCS.
• A beautiful new space that is almost ready for the grand opening. Bishop Piche will be here on Sunday,
December 2nd to bless our new space.
Let us all be thankful and make sure at the top of your list of things to be thankful for are the good things that
God in His grace has given you.

What is Santa's Workshop?
Santa's Workshop is a fun way for your children to purchase gifts for their loves-
ones right at school. We have gifts for parents, grandparents, siblings, and other
special people in their life.
When is Santa's Workshop open?
December 13th & 14th, 2012 for students in Pre-K to 8th grade.
Scheduling details to follow.
How much does it cost?
The workshop is packed with quality low-cost gifts priced at or below retail. Cost
varies from $1.00 to $7.00. Kids can purchase one gift or many, it is up to you.
Where does the profit go?
Funds raised directly benefit the students and staff of Sacred Heart Catholic
School. In previous years, many specialty areas have been the recipient of the
funds and an all school assembly is sponsored in the spring. It is a wonderful
experience for the children that promotes the spirit of kindness and giving.
How can my child participate?
Fill out the Santa’s Workshop form and send it with your child on their shopping
day. Please be certain to include cash or check (payable to SHCS) in an enclosed
envelope. Please use one slip and one check per child. Your child will return
home with gifts ready to be placed under the tree. Change can either be donated
