“Is Thanksgiving Over?” As we paused to celebrate a Day of Thanksgiving, one would assume that because of the example of our forefathers-and today we have so much-that we would be an extremely thankful people. But, as we all know, that is not always the case. It’s a bit sad, that we sometimes determine our thanksgiving on the basis of how much money we have, is our retirement safe, and that we have a fancy new car. The truth is that all of these things may change at any time. They may drift away—or burn up—or someone may steal them. The only thing we have for sure is our relationship with the Lord, and that, in the end, is the one thing for which we should be Most Thankful for. Not just on Thanksgiving Day, but each and every day of the year. Nothing says it like Psalm 100: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

For the Lord is good and His Love endures forever; His Faithfulness continues through all generations. Let us be thankful for who we are, what we have, and for the One Who Made it All. Kevin & Savannah Pestke, Missionaries in Chipata, Southern, Zambia
Hey Missy & Kids at Grace! How are y'all?! I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We had a very good time with three other missionary families in the area. The power stayed on enough through out the day to get all of our food cooked and we even found a turkey to cook in town. We are blessed! Speaking of being blessed, we just received. I just want to say thank you for the money you and the kids at Grace sent. My Mom sent us a big box of good stuff and we really look forward to using it all. Crisco for pies, jewelry for Analiese, Pop tarts for Kevin and lots of other goodies. We also got the crafts and it just so happens that Analiese's favorite thing to do right now is crafts! That was so sweet and thoughtful of you all. We will pray that God blesses you in return for your kindness and generosity. Please tell the kids I wrote and that I hope and pray they will grow in the truth and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is NO better place to be than in his safe and loving arms. Love you! Savannah & Family
