We welcome Miss Stacy Sweitzer to our worship services today.

Stacy comes on unanimous recommendation of our Personnel Committee to serve as our Director of Preschool and Children’s Ministries. The Church Membership will have opportunity to vote on her at the end of the worship services this Morning. December is a very busy time in and out of the church. Parties, shopping, special services, extra rehearsals and many demands on our time leave us with a feeling of frustration and “rushtration!” In the midst of this it is very easy to miss the meaning of the Season. This is the time we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Take time to mediate on this meaning. Set aside time to spend in quietness with Him. Make this year the year that Christmas is about Jesus and not everyone or everything else. If you do this you will have a very Merry Christmas. Paul

Thanks to our congregation for your attendance at last Sunday nights time of worship led by the Saints Alive Choir. Weren’t we all blessed?

Have you ever had your “Christian walk” become dry? We all have and for some reason we always want to point to something or someone to place the blame. Well, I have decided that I want this Christmas to be the most joyous one of my life. So, after digging into the word, God showed me that I become dry due to the lack of DOING the Word and not just HEARING the Word. Therefore, I have challenged myself, along with the student ministry, to take a 14 Day challenge. From December 1st through the 14th, we are going to do four things. As illustrated in Acts 2:42; we are going to learn one Doctrine a day, have REAL prayer time, be dedicated to the fellowship with other believers. This will allow us to be ready to DO something for someone that we don’t know, to help grow the Kingdom of God. I am excited to see what God does in these days ahead for our walks and for His Kingdom. This is what the CHRISTMAS SPIRIT should be all about. I challenge you to join us in this time of regaining the JOY of our salvation. If you haven’t noticed, our student ministry has made “Inside Out” t -shirts, long sleeve shirts and even hoodies. These are to promote our ministry within the community as well as a way of helping us raise money for our Honduras trip in the summer. The t-shirts are $10, the long sleeves are $15, and the hoodies are $20. If you are interested, please see me or Alli Guy.

All Senior Adults are encouraged to join us tomorrow for our monthly gathering. Harold and Barbara Fleshman are preparing turkey, dressing and giblet gravy for our enjoyment. You might consider making your covered dish item one that complements the main course. The Fellowship Club will meet at noon on December 3 for our Christmas Celebration. The food will be great and the program will feature music of the Christmas season. Bring a friend and dress up for this special event.
