“For Us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven”
In this season of Christmas we REJOICE and are glad that God has given us His Son to be the savior of the world and the redeemer of our sins! Fulfilling His promise to us from the fall of man in the garden of Eden, God has sent the Messiah to show us the love of the Father and give us a model of holiness! God came down as the Son, Jesus Christ, humbling himself even to be born in a manger. And after 33 years of life was murdered at the very hands of the people he came to save. Death has been defeated! Salvation reigns! What a glad time for us to celebrate the birth of our Lord from over 2000 years ago. This is a time for celebration and as Catholics we celebrate for more than one day! The Church designates an entire season to the birth of the Lord. When we observe this special season we honor, worship, and revere our Lord as a provider and miracle maker.

“For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; and authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

Give time to ponder this great act of mercy from God! Spend time with your family and teach them what this season is about!
- Pope Benedict XVI

Give God glory and thanks for his wondrous deeds!
