A Note from the Student Minister
Matthew Erxleben

Hey Students!
On February 22-24, the Middle Schoolers (6th – 8th Grade) at First Capital Christian Church are going to experience BELIEVE. BELIEVE is a highly engaging & dynamic weekend that will bring you to both moments of craziness and moments that draw you closer to God. BELIEVE is structured specifically for Middle School students and is packed with powerful worship, intense drama and teaching from God’s Word. This is our 4th year in a row at BELIEVE and it will be our best yet. If there is one Middle School event you attend…make it this one!
In Christ,

Matthew Erxleben

The Presence Tour 2013
The concept of the Holy Spirit is a difficult one for young people. CIY wants to help junior high students gain a better understanding of the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives during this year’s Believe tour. At Believe, students will learn that the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives brings a richer life, stronger sense of community and unimaginable courage to face the challenges of their complex worlds. They’ll come to see that the presence of the Holy Spirit, alive and active in the church, allows them to find their identity and purpose in this larger family – a place where they are known, valued and loved. Once they understand the power of the Holy Spirit, and his presence in their lives, they’ll begin to see how he uses them to be Kingdom workers in their schools, homes and among their peers.
