Y&R Group Indonesia appoints John Domas as Chief Executive Officer

Jakarta, 13 December 2012 Sanjay Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer, Y&R Southeast Asia today announced the appointment of John Domas as Chief Executive Officer of Y&R Group Indonesia. Domas succeeds Andrew Dowling, who has been promoted to Group Managing Director of Y&R Group Sydney, comprising GPY&R Advertising, digital arm VML and retail marketing specialist Ideaworks. John Domas joins from Y&R Brands Poland where he was CEO, overseeing the groups component agencies Wunderman, Y&R, Progress Raymond, and BAV Consulting.Y&R Brands specializes in 360 advertising, interactive, marketing consultancy, digital production, and CRM. Having started his career as a creative in the United States, Domas then moved into business development for the CEE Region, and later into management. At the age of 29, he was named the youngest CEO within HavasWorldwides advertising network He has been in the communication business for over 16 years and has managed full service advertising, digital, media, and PR companies across Europe and Canada. Domas client experience spans multiple categories and includes Reckitt Benckiser, Smithfield, Vodaphone (Polkomtel), Kraft, GlaxoSmithKline, Danone (Water & Dairy), Novartis, Peugeot, Citroen, LOreal, Canal+, MaspexWadowice and ING. Domas has a BA in Design, a degree from the prestigious Creative Circus, and a MBA from Bradford University.
