Merry Christmas!

I couldn’t be more thankful for your involvement in what God did in not just my life, but literally the WORLD this year! Enjoy this recap & update on some precious events With joy and love, of 2012!

January– I kicked off 2012 at the CRU Denver Christmas Conference, & enjoyed the Rocky Mountains with Karen! April– I watched some of my favorite girls compete in track meets, and even got to pole vault in one myself! May– AIA weekly meetings were finishing strong, and it was time to start hiking my favorite local spot. Heading into the summer, we praised God for allowing many of our students to attend AIA Ultimate Training Camp!

February– We enjoyed supporting Rams basketball and our cheerleaders at many exciting home games.

March– 100 student athletes from across the front range came to the AIA/FCA winter retreat. I also attended the AIA March Meeting at AIA headquarters in Xenia, OH.

June– YOU helped send me across the world to Zimbabwe this summer! I’ve been able to reflect on this experience daily and hope to communicate just how God-glorifying and life-giving it was!

July– I spent this month looking fervently for a job but also had fun with many friends! I saw two AIA Colorado Project friends get married, sent off a former CSU long jumper to the Olympics, visited my cousins and their new donkeys, and dressed up for the Tour de Fat bike ride downtown. August- I got a job as a live-in nanny, but the relationship with the family makes it so much more than a job! Such a blessing! September- Well I said I wouldn’t do it again, but I hiked my 2nd 14’er (a 14,000 ft. mountain). I also had a great visit from a college friend/roommate, Bettie!

November– I was able to attend a women’s retreat and was so encouraged by the women in my church family. I spent Thanksgiving with friends who recently launched AIA at Mizzou!

October– Fort Collins saw its first snow, and we celebrated a 2nd birthday at home. My brother visited me in CO for the first time, and I visited MI which included a fun visit to UofM, Go Blue!

Praying for the future… God has been so generous to use this current season of my life to show me some of my specific passions and how they relate to a career. I’m so happy to share that I’ve felt called to pursue a life of ministry by joining staff with AIA in 2013! I hope to tell you personally about what specifically excites me sometime! I will be applying soon, and pending my acceptance, begin developing a team of many ministry partners who will financially support me each month through the amazing ministry of Athletes in Action. Would you consider praying with me during my application process, for protection from fear and doubt, and for clear leading in each step of the new staff process?
