3.2 I think that either the teacher didnt explain fully with enough examples and exercise on how deal with proper fractions and how to add, subtract and multiply fraction or the lesson was rushed and did not allocate enough time to this section or the learner was confused on how to solve the problem or was not willing to ask for clarification on how to solve the problem. 3.3 Use the three model types The learner should understand the addition of like fractions and how to change it to like fractions. The learners should devise their own method of calculation and use it. The learners must understand the link between addition of fractions and the addition of whole numbers.
