1 Corinthians 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Suggestions and helps for reading the Bible:
10 11 12 13 14 15 16
1) Don't expect to understand everything the first time you
read it! This type of reading is best for getting a general
2 Corinthians 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 overview of what the Bible says. Focus on general
10 11 12 13 ideas and perspectives. If you find the Bible difficult to
read, you may wish to use a different translation. Mark off each chapter
Galatians 1 2 3 4 5 6 2) Some Old Testament passages (such as some of the after you have read it.
ceremonial laws and rituals, and the genealogical lists)
Ephesians 1 2 3 4 5 6 were important to Israel, but have less importance for
us today. Such passages may be more difficult to
Philippians 1 2 3 4 understand or boring to read. When you get to these,
you may want to read just one of these chapters a day,
Colossians 1 2 3 4 and spend the rest of your reading time in a different
part of the Bible.
1 Thessalonians 1 2 3 4 5 3) There is no need to race! It is more important for you to pay
attention to the Bible and let it change you.
2 Thessalonians 1 2 3
4) If you would like to read some passages twice, in the time
1 Timothy 1 2 3 4 5 6 you read the rest of the Bible once, place a diagonal in
the box the first time you read it and another diagonal
2 Timothy 1 2 3 4 (to make an "X") the second time you read it.

observations and thoughts. You could combine it with a
Philemon 1 prayer journal, etc., if desired.
