And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: (Gen 3:14) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; (Gen 3:17, Isa 24:6) And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. (Gen 5:29, Mal 4:6) And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. (Gen 8:29, Prov 11:25-27) Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; (Deu 11:26, Psa 119:21, Isa 65:15) And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. (Ex 15:26, Neh 10:29, Prov 24:24, Dan 9:11) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Gen 12:3, Deu 23:5, 30:7, Neh 13:2, Prov 3:33) But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: (Deu 28:15-40, Lev 19, Jer 29:18-22, 44:12, Lam 3:65) And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. (Gen 9:22-27, Jos 9:22-24, Prov 30:9-11) How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. (Psa 62:4, Gen 27:12, Jer 17:5) And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: (Deu 29:19-27, Prov 27:14, Jer 11:3) If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: (Mat 15:4, Deu 21:18, Ex 21:17, Lev 20:9, 24:11-23, Prov 20:20) But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. (John 7:49, Gal 3:10)

He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. (Prov 28:27) Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people. (Ex 22:28, Job 1:5) This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it (Zech 5:1-4, 8:13) Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.(Mal 3:9, 1:14, 2:2) And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse: (Num 5:19-27) Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: (Deu 28:40-68, 27:13-26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Heb 10:26-29, 2 Pet 2) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Pet 5:6-8) And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Gal 3:12-14) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Cor 5:17) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim 1:7, Luk 6:28, Matt 5:44, Rom 12:44) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Heb 10:35-39) If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words. (Job 34:16)
