Not that those evil gods can't be dangerous, but usually they have less (and less happy) people, meaning it is easy to take them down (less villagers to convert). Another reason is a rainbow on your temple, a rainbow colored hand, and a cool creature (Ok, ok the tortoise and the. ________________________________________________________________________________ 2. THE CREATURE When you first get it, make sure to hit it hard when it does something evil or stupid (like throwing/eating villagers, making poo on a bad location, or throwing around with things). Make sure it learns how to use the village store, how to dance, and how to fish. Once you get the water dispenser (help the once who wants to leave the island), make sure your creature learns the spell. Do this with all the spell dispensers the first island. Remember to pet him when he wants to impress someone, wants to be kind, or helps people. Also learn him to water things, and if you teach him the miraculous food spell; make sure he learns to use it on your worshipers. Don't give him the leash of aggression; unless you have to fight, it will make

so he doesn't cast a wood spell when your villagers need food. and let it go around with the learning leash in the village. BTW. Once your creature is fully trained. especially physical shield. if your village doesn't need anything badly. and a fast learner. you should be able to let I go free. do what TWG says. 4. to convert it. take scaffolds from Khazars village. teach him to use the spells on the right location and time. he won't care. take care of their needs. For further info on creatures. Shoot some fireballs OVER (yes. which I call "Creature training". Once converted. to prevent housing problems). Build so many houses that the expanding flag goes down. TBG: "And quite BORING!" TWG: "I actually find it quit nice". it is aggressive. Teach your creature all the spells and when you fell ready talk to the big guy on the mountain (and watch what you shouldn't do to your creature. Also teach him fireball or lightning. BEFORE you take the gold scroll. The Monkey is my personal favorite. which should be intelligent AND friendly. ________________________________________________________________________________ 4. so you can cast it in battles. If anybody needs help in this level.1 LEVEL 1: Not much to say. If you have the patience. you should get all the sheep's for the farmer.him evil. do what TWG says. which I'll publish if anyone's interested. at this time some of your villagers would probably want to breed. Of course remember to slap him if he uses them elsewhere (for some reason fried villagers gives you spikes on your temple.2 LEVEL 2: As usual. Also use the rest of your spell arsenal. and he'll fall on villagers and houses (did anyone say King Kong?). Now. and remember to water the fields. Make sure all the villages have what they need. Oh. artifacts and villagers (but not to may!) through the gate. to conquer it. Don't worry about what Kazhar says.3 LEVEL 3: Start by helping your villagers with building your temple. and now you want to spare him!? Send him to the VOID!!" . Ok. Now he will tell you that he will help you in time of need. and open a portal for the next level. let them breed. and follow him (if your computer is fast enough. Ok. some Indians want to sacrifice their firstborn son. and then lots of oneshot miracles appeared. horny bastards). which I suggest you move into the ocean. Fry them with either a fireball or the lightning. the town center. Create all three wonders. YES!! Your creature won't be as well trained now. and then refill their storage. now things starts to heat up: Nemesis kills Khazar. and make them breed to get a bigger influence. unless of course you have the time it takes to make the village be within your influence. you should also heal ALL the villagers. now comes the true test for you creature: can it take over at village all by itself? Send your creature to conquer the next village. as a newborn. Don't go after it! Conquer the last villages (or throw heated rocks at the enemy temple). and the other god takes your creature. Now take over the 3rd village. Once you are half done with taking the village. or he will create lots of one shots miracles all over your influence (I'm not sure. but I'm not sure what this means: either he will help you against the wolves. and perhaps breed a little (in the game. Now if you didn't get them all. Ok. Take the 4th village. After some time the enemy god will send in some wolves to get his village back. use quick save while following him). once you get him back. which should be no problem if you taught it healing and/or fireball/lightning. Once you have taken over the 3rd village. Tinkle little star" on them. Build houses enough for everyone. This should be no problem except the some annoying wolf creature. Remember to put lots of wood. and try building them. This should be pretty straight forward. and snow should start falling. so your people can make artifacts (by dancing around it). instead go to the mountain near you. start casting miracles. Then play "White Christmas" on them. and the gate will come again. TBG: "What!! He took Khazars creed. 4. send him to take the last village. once the village is conquered. your enemy will beg for mercy. Once your creature is back to normal. Take the scroll. I have only taken him after taking the 3rd village. take the next village the same way you took the others. so in the words of Squall Lionheart: "Whatever". Please mail me about this). they make excellent food or PP. Spare him of course. give you the creed. food. so you have free space enough for your creature to move around. where an old Guru lives. Nifty! If you by now have enough wood. so I'm not going to explain the details. Ok. Don't let them! Instead sacrifice threes enough to give the same amount of PP (prayer power). Now don't take the 3rd village. he tortured our creature. build a wonder or two. Remember to put some rocks IN your villages. Now start building the village up. Ok. but be careful not to burn the forests (tree is essential). for once TBG has a point: "He's desperate".WARNING: VILLAGERS BREED LIKE RABITS!!OVERBREEDING IS HELL!! Though. Make sure every one has houses. if you have don't have housing problems and/or enough tree. there will be a problem with some poisoned food. but I don't know if he was responsible for those. to retrain it. they might be useful. Make your creature smash him. and the storage. and play "Tinkle. Once your influence is over the 2nd city. so you might want to spend some time playing skirmish. the workshop. you might just have noticed a silver scroll by some stones near village 4.

Make your creature get the creed. the levels. and artifacts through the vortex. if you can take the scaffolds from the wonder. Before you go for the 5th village. Now do the quest with the bells (use quick save. while you raise the 2nd. Send your creature over to kill Sleg. Ok. You also might want to build more on this city. but only towards the south. Send your creature to the village to the north. Once your influence is big enough for you to hold the 2nd totem up for some time. but with some patience you can get this village. You see this is level 1 after Nemesis has punished the people for following you. give it all you got and for once use storm. Once you start at the last village. and heal and the victory should be . and give it the leash of compassion.5 LEVEL 5: I suggest that you teach your creature "Flock of Birds". Take the woman they had captured back to her husband. While your creature gives you believes in the 3rd town. Once the village is taken over. villagers. go for the Greek city. he has a lot of believes. so it'll become big. Cast fireball. Once you get down to zero believes. Don't get your creature near it though. you won't need it if you can keep Nemesis busy. and how to solve the puzzles: see Robert Hagenström's FAQ. well. Once your influence reaches the second village. Now it is time for some village building. This will give you a flock of birds miracle dispenser. keep a physical shield up. Build up the 2nd village up enough to keep a physical shield up. send your creature to raise the 1st. Get your creature back. Storm and physical shield works nicely. to increase your influence.Take loads of wood and food with you (20000 of each should do). Also lots of villagers and artifacts with you. Nature. Use this to get the last village. Besides building houses. The fireballs stopped. Start to build up your town. being slightly evil might be a good thing because your creature is the opposite of your alignment. and the worst part is over. Just let him do it. the megablasts follow the same pattern all the time. go for the village to the west. Nemesis will start destroying everything. Once this is done. Once this is done your village should have a town center and a village store. wonders. or he'll cast physical shield around his village. YOUR CREATURE WILL BE FOREVER CURSED!! Get loads of wood (at least 60000). food (30000 should do). relocate to the east. 4. and a tiny spot of influence. and the sky is red. Once this village is taken. Once the 3rd village is taken. which shouldn't be to hard. Simply use all you got. and then send your creature to the village behind the mountains (some guy will tell you about this). but with the opposite alignment. AND SAVEGAMES BEFORE ENTERING THE 5TH LEVEL!! IF YOU DON'T. 4. and this should be real easy). there's a constant storm over the place. Now he will make a copy of your creature. take the dragon quest. WARNING!! BACKUP YOUR CREATURE. make the 1st village stabile. to prevent them from getting hurt by Nemesis.4 LEVEL 4: This is hell! TBG seems to like it tough. Also. wonders makes. so you wont have to do anything about that. Make sure you have lot of PP. Now you will fell the true power of three combined creeds: but don't worry. Fireballs rain from the sky. Get your temple standing. take the shield down on the 4th. Make sure you creature gets the village real quick (play skirmish and teach him flying flock). make your creature convert the people in the Aztec village. so he can protect the village. Animal Flock: Don't use this! It's evil!! Teleport: Used correctly. critics. ________________________________________________________________________________ 7. at least not the upgraded versions. Food: Good for impressing villagers. Also show a little bit of respect when you mail me. you should also mail me about grammar and other errors in this FAQ. to impress them. Nature: Good for getting loads of wood. and so on. and watch the ending movie (have anyone ever seen it end?). don't use it. don't use any upgraded version. teach it to your creature.yours. Village management guide. people always complain. May the Rainbow and the eternal day be yours. Heal: Great for battles. Use them. Flying Flock: Simply the greatest (good) spell for taking over villages. but you can make sure none of the desires are at 100%. _______________________________________________________________________________ 5. There's nothing like an extreme Mega Blast in the middle of a big town". ha. if you have the lumberjacks to get it. Spiritual and physical shield: Great for protecting villagers and getting belief. SPELLS: Fireball: shoot them over a village (but don't hit anything). ________________________________________________________________________________ 6 . and if you give them that. so I don't recommend using at all. this spell can save your villagers loads of time. There are 16 different Creatures. The Creatures A. Natural Alignment is basically what your Creature is inclined to become. These a re: Ape Tortoise Cow Zebra Tiger Brown Bear Leopard Polar Bear Wolf Sheep Lion Chimp Horse Mandrill Rhino Ogre Another Creature that many people thought was in the game is the Crocodile. and some o f the evil Creatures look awesome. The next points are rela tively selfexplanatory. basically. if you left it alone overnight with 0 training what alignment it would be in the morning. The next point is somewhat controversial. Of course. not based on the numbers from the website or strategy guide.) The Dance is self-explanatory. The Creatures are arranged below in alphabetical order. but as for now you can't g et it. A lot of people say i t's random. Note that these can cha nge dramatically based on your training (besides intelligence. This way you can skip all the tedious micromanagement and concentrate on the fun stuff (killing!!) while your Creature can watch the towns without you having to worry. that's just my opinion. (By the way. but from what I've seen it stays constant for each creature. this is just my opinion. As they say. The Creatures This is the real fun of the game. and are based on a scale of 0-10. I believe this is relat ed to whether it's meant as an attacker or a defender. and some creatures' limits are low . b ut the perfect combination is a good Creature and an evil player.h should fix some of that. This was nixed in the early stages of development. but in my experiences it is pretty reliable. So. It might be back. good or evil. They are just my (and helpers') s peculation.

However. His Range is OK but he just isn't strong enough for it to be much use. final ly. you're saying. Whew. Two. very .5/10 Proficiency in Battle: One of the best battlers. Proficiency in Battle is based upon a number of factors. The delay time on his moves is average but the Special Move is excellent (almost an instant hit). he does learn pretty quickly. These won't be numerical values. His moves look surprisingly reminiscent of martial arts for a bear. One. Creature Name: Brown Bear How to Unlock: Completion of "Pollution Clean-up" Challenge in Land5 Natural Alignment: Evil Dance: Coming Soon Relative Strength: 7/10 Relative Speed: 5. Really there aren't any glaring deficiencies here. Proficiency out of Battle: Slightly above average. These can be tough to judge. Overall: The Ape is probably the best Creature to start off with if you're playing good. can be supplemented by carrying rocks around. My e-mail's at the end of the FAQ. etc. Proficiency out of Battle: May not be so good. how strong he is a nd how easily he gains strength. which basically balances out any of its personality problems. 2. how quickly and how powerful his actual attacks come off. as the Ape supposedly has a tendency to wander off or be distracted and not feed himself properly.

He's naturally nice to Villagers and learns Miracles pretty decently. Overall: One of the best fighters and attackers. and it's nearly impossible to get him up to full strength. Probably THE worst. or stunning them in place. They have some delay but are powerful. away. He learns MegaBlast at 1% each time! If you equip the Learning Leash while doing something. bye-bye Villagers.strong. Plus the good form looks a lot better than the evil. the good incarnation looks stupid. won't be very happy moping around the house. he has the potential to increase rather rapidly. Keep him on the offense. He learns miracles slowly. Besides the inherent strength. and will stun the enemy. then see Creature breeder in Land 1/4 . This coupled with an above-average intelligence (and inherent lovability) makes him a pretty good all-around creature. Though the cow starts off with low stats. He can pick up Water in 2 showings. Proficiency out of Battle: Probably THE best. An excellent choice as a fighter. No real problems here. long reaching. Not too good as a town-watcher though. 5. A pretty good Creature overall. Besides.5/10 Relative Speed: 4/10 Relative Intelligence: 6/10 Proficiency in Battle: Coming Soon Proficiency out of Battle: Pretty good. it's great for disorienting a human opponent).5/10 Relative Speed: 7/10 Relative Intelligence: 10/10 Proficiency in Battle: Put bluntly: terrible. Not to mention the very fast Special Move. Creature Name: Cow How to Unlock: Chosen at beginning of game Natural Alignment: Good Dance: A River Dance! Relative Strength: 2. He learns Miracles the fastest of any Creature. Proficiency out of Battle: Below average. and great in battle. and has a knack for over-eating. the moves have quite a bit of delay. either knocking them to the side (aim for the legs. Creature Name: Gorilla How to Unlock: Downloadable. He has a very short reach. its attacks are pretty good. Water Increase in 4. when the sheep runs out. he'll always pick it up after one try! What more do you want?! Overall: Coming Soon 4. Overall: Don't be fooled by the low stats. 6. 3.

7. He has a pretty nice reach on most of his moves (shoot for the back-flip. it's great). His strength needs to be worked on pretty often to keep it high. Creature Name: Lion How to Unlock: Complete the Land 5 Lion Puzzle. and his attacks aren't very powerful. supplying the Village Store. A great choice overall. but it simply isn't worth the lack on intelligence. which is sort of like a jumping slash. But you could get around this by training an earlier Creature and switching to him. but it'll take work. it's probably best to teach him some good offensive miracles and have him keep his distance from the enemy's Creature. 8.5/10 Relative Speed: 9. The Special Move is a double kick with the hind legs. The Special Move.5/10 Relative Intelligence: 7/10 Proficiency in Battle: The Horse isn't really that good of a fighter.Natural Alignment: Good Dance: An Irish tap dance Relative Strength: 4. It's perfect for leaving on overnight. If you really want a good Leopard it'll take quite a bit of work. all the while managing to keep himself in good health. if you have no qualms about missing 10 years of your Creature's life and/or being a cheater.5/10 Relative Speed: 8/10 Relative Intelligence: 2/10 Proficiency in Battle: An excellent fighter. Besides the lack of Intelligence. Creature Name: Leopard How to Unlock: Downloadable. Mediocre in a fight. where you must guide a blind lion to its meal of mutton. His other attacks come at a pretty average rate of speed. though. Overall: The strength and speed are enticing. so it's much too slow to be of any use in a fight. but nothing special. and he will automatically have a caring and compassionate nature. It's best if used defensively. doesn't go forward very far but can be used to jump over sweeps if you know they're coming (like if you're fighting a cheapo who does one move over and over). Note he has a good sweep (target legs at medium range) that can pretty easily be followed up with a step forward and a few close-up attacks. a very effective Creature. I don't understand why it's not more popular. After a little bit of training. but the first kick does no damage. then see Creature Breeder in Land 1/4 Natural Alignment: Evil Dance: A break-dance! Relative Strength: 7. as its VERY high speed allows it to get from Village to Village quickly. Natural Alignment: Evil Dance: Coming Soon . He'll pick up Miracles very slowly and won't take training very well. you can let him off his leash and he will wander about healing Villagers. Proficiency out of Battle: Avoid putting him in this role. Overall: The Horse is an excellent all-around Creature. He may be able to hold his own against some of the Creatures. He's not as dumb as the Tiger (please don't e-mail me with insults over this comment!). Proficiency out of Battle: This is where the Horse really shines. but still pretty dumb.

You can usually guess what he's going to do because most of the moves are natural human moves. Proficiency out of Battle: Yet another average score. Proficiency out of Battle: Not so good. My guess is that since the AI Ogres will never dance Lionhead felt no need to pro gram a dance.. 10.
