UNLOCKING FEE
If you purchased a mobile handset as part of a Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile handset pack and want to use it on another network, youll need to pay a network unlocking fee. The fee is between $50 and $150 (dependent on the handset) if you want to unlock within the first six months. After six months, the fee is $27.50.

MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT


You can use your mobile or any handy internet connection to recharge, check your balance, buy extras and lots more. On the web Just register for My Account Online at telstra.com/prepaid. Use your mobile number as your username and pick your own password to log in. Using your mobile Just hit the BigPond icon on your compatible mobile and select the My tab, dial #100# or call 125 8888. These are all free to use from your Pre-Paid mobile. Either way, youll be able to check your estimated usage, review your calls, buy a recharge or add a Plus Pack whenever you want. Using apps Download the My Pre-Paid app for selected Android powered handsets from the Google Play store (standard download charges apply). With Facebook Download the My Telstra Pre-Paid app for Facebook just search for My Telstra Pre-Paid using the search tool on your Facebook page.

USING YOUR MOBILE WHILE OVERSEAS


You can make calls while overseas using your Telstra Pre-Paid with International Roaming. International Roaming is already activated on your service, so making calls is as easy as when youre in Australia. Remember, different call rates apply when youre overseas and the bonuses you get with your offer cant be used while youre overseas. Only your recharge amount can be used overseas. BLACKBERRY INDIVIDUAL SOLUTION (BIS)


If youre a Telstra customer with either a Telstra Pre-Paid BlackBerry smartphone or your own compatible BlackBerry smartphone, you can connect to a BIS. It gives you access to: an unlimited number of emails in Australia (up to 10 email accounts including an optional BlackBerry email account) unlimited instant messaging with BBM, Google, Yahoo!, Windows Live and Facebook Chat unmetered use of many BlackBerry apps from BlackBerry AppWorld while in Australia mobile web browsing in Australia (see BlackBerry Tips for more information) contact lists, tasks, calendar and organiser that you can take with you.

DATA CHARGES
If the offer youve selected doesnt include bonus data, youll be charged the Pay As You Go rate for data which is $2 per MB. Telstra Pre-Paid Simplicity is charged in MB increments and all other offers are charged in KB increments.

BLACKBERRY BROWSING TIPS


To avoid being charged your standard Pre-Paid offer data rates when browsing in Australia, you need to use the BlackBerry.net APN. To remain using the BlackBerry APN, we recommend refreshing your browsing session: after streaming audio/video content (eg music videos, music trailers and TV shows) when you want to leave a Telstra unmetered site after starting your browsing session on that unmetered site after using your device as a modem. Refreshing your browsing session is easy simply close your current session and start a new session, or enter the full URL of the next site you want to visit. To connect to BIS: call 125 8887 and ask for connection to a BIS on any Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Offer. Youll then need to recharge $40 or more, which will give you 30 days access, as well as your usual offer bonuses. At the end of your 30 days access, you have up to 30 days to recharge $40+ again to keep your BIS access connected. If you wait longer, youll need to call 125 8887 to request reconnection before you recharge. If you activate with a Telstra Pre-Paid BlackBerry smartphone, youll get 14 days free access to BIS from that date. Standard data rates of your Telstra Pre-Paid offer will apply once your BIS has expired. Unlimited BlackBerry email experience may vary with large emails, large attachments and/or embedded content.
