La determinacin del VO2 mximo se realiza a partir de la siguiente ecuacin:

VO2 Mx = 132,6 (0,17 x PC) (0,39 x Edad) + (6,31 x S) (3,27 x T) (0,156 x FC)
Donde PC: Peso corporal (kg); S: Sexo (0: mujeres, 1: hombres); T: Tiempo en minutos (valores decimales); FC: Frecuencia cardiaca (ppm)

Test de Carrera 1 Milla


Objetivo: Determinar el VO2 mximo. Desarrollo: Consiste en recorrer la distancia de 1
milla en el menor tiempo posible. A los 10 segundos de finalizar se toman las pulsaciones y con este dato y el tiempo empleado en realizar la prueba.

Se calcula el VO2 mximo aplicando la siguiente ecuacin: Hombres Mujeres
VO2mx = 108.844 - 0.1636W - 1.438T - 0.1928H

VO2mx = 100.5 - 0.1636W - 1.438T - 0.1928H

Donde W= Peso Corporal T= Tiempo en decimales H= Frecuencia Cardiaca al terminar la prueba
