Shemot Exodus 1:1–6:1.

The Hebrew title of this Parsha is the same as the Hebrew title of the entire book – Shemot. It is the plural form of Shem (name) and thus means „names‟. Therefore, it is no surprise that the writer immediately launches into the NAMES – SHEMOT, of the Sons of Jacob. Though inherently Prophetic themselves, there is a hidden message here even deeper than their names reveal. Can you see it? Let‟s venture a look: The gematria of the root of the word shemot, , Shem is 340 and is the same as that of #5341, nazar, to guard, to keep, preserving or hiding, and #5342, nezer, a branch or shoot, part of a family line. It is also the same value of #5608, sapar, to number, to recount, or declare, or #5609, a book or scroll. These numbers infer a connection that indicates those „named‟ are being hidden to preserve a branch or family line as declared in the Book! (Was there a “Book” before Moshe?) Additional insight is found at the place the word shemot is first used: Gen. 2: 20 where Adam is seen calling all living creatures a name. This may not seem like much on the surface, however as we delve into the intricacies of the Hebrew perhaps we‟ll see more of a connection to Shemot! First, Gen. 2:18 tells us it is not good for Adam to be alone, after he is shown both the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil - the choice of the two Seed lines - he is then allowed to „name‟ the living creatures and an “help-meet”, #5828, , is not found among them, he is then put to sleep and Eve, The Help Meet, taken out of him. Was this a test? What is happening here? How does it connect to Shemot? Ezer Kenegdo has a value of 360, the same as #5903, and the plural word for „their nakedness‟ in Gen. 3:7. It is also the root of the ,

kindred word for naked in Gen. 2:25, #6174, `arowm. The root of both looks the same except for the insertion of the letter YOD, the Sages teach: Whereas Aleph (1) is the beat, or pulsation of life-death-life-death, Yod (10) is its projection in temporal continuity. So Yod (in Hebrew: the hand), is the opposite of Aleph, its partner playing against it in the game without which nothing would be. Is this a manifestation of the Serpent‟s seed – the counterfeit YOD being introduced into Adam & Eve? It is intriguing to note that from Gen. 2:7 (the planting of YHVH‟s seed into Adam) until Gen. 3:7 (the planting of the serpent‟s seed) there are just 25 verses. 25 is the

gematria of , #899, which can refer to a garment and also infer to deal treacherously with, as in unfaithfulness in marriage! This is hidden reference to the lost garment of Light once clothing the Bride of YHVH. Ironically, Gen. 2: 19 has 93 letters in it, which is the gematria of #2645, chapah, which means to overlay or cover, as with a veil, and #2646, chuppah, which infers a chamber or cover, a wedding canopy. It is interesting that 93 is also the value of the phrase, „before destruction‟, la`Abbadon: This phrase in seen in Job 26 5, 6 where a reference to the dead, #7496, ‫ פ‬raphaim, dead ones – the spirits, shades, Nephylim is seen. Is Adam‟s test related to a previous failure of the Fallen Ones? How is this tied to Shemot? Let‟s look further: The phrase;

, tree of the knowledge of good and evil…has a

value of 932 the same as a phrase seen in Daniel 2:5 translated, „titeh avedun‟ - you shall be executed, destroyed. [in the day you eat of it you shall surely die…] The root here is spelled with an Ayin-Bet-Dalet, and the Ayin can be interchanged with the Alef. Alef-Bet-Dalet infers to wander, to perish, and to be destroyed. It is the root of Abbadon – the Destroyer who will be released out of the pit. He is one of those bound because of sexual sins with man and animals. (Jude 1:6, 7). Now, back to the naming… Remember Adam is charged with naming creation. He calls them [Gen. 2:19] #7121,

‫ ק‬qara', to summon, to reckon, to account, to number, to exchange names and to
determine by reference to a fixed basis. This word infers that Adam carefully considers each living creature in light of needing a Help Meet for procreation after having been shown both Trees – Seed lines. He knows the law of Genesis – everything reproduces after its kind, from the Hebrew word, #4327, miyn, which indicates, species, kind, gender, sex. It is only after this careful consideration and testing by YHVH, that Adam names, #8034, ‫ ש‬Shem, a word that specifically identifies the purpose or use designed for whom/what it is attached to. Thus, Adam is without excuse when he later sexually engages the serpent! Subsequently, these names serve as identifiers for all creation today, and thus, act as a witness to judge all who engage in sexual perversions such as homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, pedophilia, adultery, and idolatry! The Names set the boundaries which identify

seed lines! *Note Eph. 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Yahshua unto good works, which YHVH hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  Workmanship, #G4161, ποίημα poiēma, that which has been made – the works of YHVH as the Creator.  Created, #G2936, κτίζω ktizō, fabricated or formed originally, belonging to the manufacturer  Ordained, #G4282, προετοιμάζω proetoimazō, to prepare before, appointed to before.  Walk, #G4043, περιπατέω peripateō, to walk at large as proof, to live. Shemot-Names! II. Now we can see the importance of the Names! Look at their order: Incidentally, there are 44 Hebrew letters in Ex. 1: 1 which is value of Yalad, to beget and Dam, blood and #1540, , to uncover, remove, to reveal oneself, to make naked, to go into exile or come out of exile. This is the same scenario as Gen. 3 where like Adam, Israel is in a fallen – naked condition and yet the Lamb is going to be revealed to set the captives free from their adulterous condition!  Reuben, #7205, Rĕ'uwben, translated, „Behold a Son, the root is also that of Ruach, breath, thus, „Behold the Son of my Breath – Word‟.  Simeon, #8095, ‫ ש‬Shim`own, from the root of shema, to hear (and obey) it means „He who hears‟ or a Man of hearing.  Levi, #3878, Leviy, defined as „Joined to‟, it can also infer to borrow or defer a payment owed.  Judah, #3063, Yĕhuwdah, translated praise, the verb originally meant a private or national confession of sin (for instance in Lev. 16:21, Aaron will praise over the scapegoat), which is the very thing the Torah was designed to provoke.  Issachar, #3485, ‫ ששכ‬Yissaskar, there is a recompense/reward. It is from the roots nasa – one who lifts up and sakar, to bring a reward.  Zebulon, #2974, dwelling place.  Benjamin, #1144, Zĕbuwluwn, it can mean, dwell with me, exalted Binyamiyn, Son of the Rt. Hand.

 Dan, #1835,  Gad, #1410,

Dan, judge.

 Naphtali, #5321,

Naphtaliy, My Wrestling.

Gad, a troop, to overcome, invade. It is the root of Megiddo!

 Asher, #836, ‫' ש‬Asher, translated „Happy‟, it also infers to go straight, to be upright. It is related to Yisharel, Israel!  Joseph, #3130, ‫ סף‬Yowceph, He shall add or increase. Its root, Samech-Pey indicates the Threshold or Opening into the House. Behold the Son of My Breath! If you hear and obey and become Echad-Joined to Him, I will defer the debt owed, to the Scapegoat, who when He is lifted up brings this reward, to dwell with Me in that exalted place at My Right Hand. I will Judge those who wrestle and overcome, walking upright. (O Israel) I will increase you making you fruitful at the Threshold. If you note Gen. 29 & 30, this is not the birth order. In fact, Issachar, Zebulon and Benjamin are inserted in the place of Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. The gematria associated with Issachar, Zebulon & Benjamin equals 1093, the same value as the entire verse of Lev. 21:15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the YHVH do sanctify him. The value of Dan, Naphtali, Gad and Asher equals 1132 the value of Deut. 32:19 And when the YHVH saw [it], he abhorred [them], because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. The [it] here is there giving of themselves to the false pagan gods and their seed. If we subtract 1093 from 1132 we have 39, the value of #1353, REDEMPTION! gĕullah,
