Purpose of J2847/3
It is presumed that SEP 2.0 will be used for PEV communications Establish Requirements for SEP 2.0 that will allow a PEV to operate as a DER. SEP 2.0 shall meet the requirements of IEC 61850-90-7 for those DER functions designated by J2847/3. SEP 2.0 shall include additional information flow requirements from the use cases of J2836/3 (this information is expected to become part of IEC 61850-7-420). SEP 2.0 shall be interoperable through simple translation with any control device that uses a protocol that follows the IEC 61850-90-7 Object Model. Show examples of SEP 2.0 XML for selected V2G applications Purpose is to validate ability of SEP 2.0 to perform the applications Identify and resolve issues that limit DER capability
