-[Event]On September 15th 2011, National Board of Revenue, Internal Resources Division of Ministry of Finance, will be launching an awareness campaign with the support of Volunteer for Bangladesh, Income Tax Day 2011. The campaign is aimed at creating awareness about the procedures to pay taxes and encouraging those who do not pay tax to do so. 3,000 volunteers from different institutions and youth organizations will take to the street to raise awareness and champion this cause. Volunteers will be out on the street with petition sheets, requesting the citizens of Bangladesh to sign an oath that they will pay their taxes properly and holding the government accountable for the proper use of this money.

-[Workshop]Registration closes on September 9th 2011. A workshop will be held soon after. All registered participants will receive an email with the workshop details. Please note that attending the workshop is a MUST for all participants. Participants will receive their individual IDs and Event T-shirts at the workshop. You will not be able to attend the event without these items. Last minute entries and all requests to be excused from the workshop will be denied, so please register on time.

-[Certificate]The National Board of Revenue will officially recognize the participants of this event with certificates. The tentative date for the certificate ceremony is the 30th of September. Stay tuned to the event for updates! For 40 years of our independence, we have blamed the government for making our lives miserable. This time, we want to make sure that they don't have any excuses for not doing what they are supposed to do. The youth of Bangladesh will help them get their job done. Will you be there to join us?
