Would you like to be an artist or a musician? Do you want to dance, sing, or act? Then maybe youd like to study at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. The school is more than 60 years old, and its very famous. The movie Fame is about this popular high school. Some famous graduates include Jennifer Aniston, Al Pacino, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. At this school, students study math, English, and science. They also have

to study dance, voice, music, or art. And they have to audition to get in! Studen ts have to perform dances, plays, and concerts and have art exhibits after sch ool, too. People in New York City can buy tickets to see their performances. Dan ce students have four periods of dance each school day, and they have to go to sum mer classes, too. In many classes, student s dont have to take tests on paper the y have to perform their tests! So if youd like to be famous and thin k you have talent, this school may be for you. Who knows you may become a star!
