RTR(P) Renewal - Commonwealth countries. (NZ / AUS / CANADA / South Africa / Philippines / UK).

This is to make things easy and simple for the renewal of the Indian RTR P license issued on the
basis of a Foreign FRTOL This is for those that have both the CPL and RT issued from a Commonwealth Country If you only have the RT from a Commonwealth country then you need to give Part 1 of the RT exam Important: For renewal of RTR(P) u require 30 hrs of flying in last 3 years or pass in part 1 WPC exam. It can be renewed only 3 months before expiry or later. You can also renew it on the basis 30 hours of operating experience of an aeromobile station within the past 3 months Though its not required but its recommended to submit the docs personally at Sanchar Bhawan during visiting hrs so that your docs are checked by the concerned official and you are notified of any shortfall in your docs. Please note RTR (P) is renewed for 20 yrs max or less subject to validity of foreign RT/FRTOL/ CPL/ATPL whichever is less. Here is the list of What documents you need for Renewal (make sure you submit only attested copies to WPC and not originals) + Only should be attested by either (I) a gazetted officer of the Central or State Government, or (ii) a Member of Parliament of State Legislature (The applicant should ensure that the person attesting the paper(s) should have his/her name as well as complete postal address in the stamp. No notary please if u dont want rejection.) a) Application Form COP 23 , Annexure 1-A b) Attested copy of foreign RT/FRTOL c) Attested copy of foreign (CPL/ATPL). d) Attested copy of Logbook pages showing 30 hrs of flying in last 3 years and 1st page of logbook e) SBI DD of Rs (5000/-) in favour of PAO (HQ ), DOT, New Delhi payable at SBI New Delhi Main Branch, Parliament Street, New Delhi (code 691) or Service Branch (code 7687) (in case of payment from New Delhi, Bankers cheque from STATE BANK OF INDIA is also acceptable). DD From SBI only f) Passport size photographs- 02 Nos. g) Attested copy of Passport and Visa in case 30 hrs are flown abroad. h) Attested copy of expiring Indian RTR(P) Once you have them make a cover letter as given below :

You will get either Mr. Negi or Mr. S. K. Gupta If you are submitting it in person make sure you have a copy of the cover letter and get a received stamp on it . This will act as proof that you submitted it in Person . Keep it safely until you receive the RT license If you are sending it by Speed Post / Registered Post make sure you keep a copy of the the slip from the post office safely until the day you receive the RT License .
