A blue collar worker for the auto industry, our young Anti-Hero has big dreams. Breaking into journalism, Bartek soon becomes a member of the press, a taxi driver, extreme metal critic, political writer, music promoter & underground filmmaker before hitting the road as a traveling counterculture journalist. Brimming with adventures alongside the misfit characters of his writings – as well as cameos by a staggering list of celebrities, politicians, metal gods & punk legends – eventually he falls through the cracks entirely, swallowed by traumatic romance. Ending up on the West Coast as a sort of drifter, he lives off Craigslist, odd jobs & ever-collapsing living arrangements. Finally ending up homeless in Seattle he lustfully embraces it, mentally re-creating himself as the lead character in his own bizarre punk rock romance novel. Along the way he meets a legion of 'Street Crazies' that have fallen through the cracks as well, uniting to form a Street Theatre movement called “FREE THERAPY.” Step by step they build a new world from the ashes of their lives, all which leads to a massive road saga through America & Europe, climaxing with the Occupy encampments of 2011.
