Objective: To research and present a case study of someone falsely accused and imprisoned who was later exonerated

by DNA evidence. You may work by yourself or with one other student from your class. Expected products: chose a case from the Innocence

Create a PowerPoint or Prezi (group project) and a personal letter (individual assignment) to someone involved in the case (the defendant; the defendants attorney; the prosecuting attorney; the defendants family; the police chief; the mayor of the city where the incident occurred; the governor of the state; or a state legislator). Due date: powerpoint/prezi-DUE Monday, March 4th and final formal typed letter with envelope due-Wednesday, march 6th Assignment value: 100 points for research, PowerPoint/Prezi and oral presentation; 50 points for formal letter and addressed envelope Criteria for grading: Minimum required research information present in the PowerPoint or Prezi -65 POINTS slide #1-your name, convicted name & Photo Slide #2-The Story-in your own words.
