The South Wales Evening Post, Swansea December 2012 one week placement I was invited back for another week by the News Editor. My article made the front-page splash of the paper on Christmas Eve and I wrote several other articles including one pagelead for news. August 2012 one week placement I wrote four pages leads and numerous shorter articles, NIBs and vox pops. I made a personal face-to-face interview and spent a morning at Swansea Magistrates Court. The Express and Echo, Exeter September 2011 one week placement Wrote one page-lead and smaller articles by conducting telephone interviews. Spent time gathering news for business. Media Wales, Cardiff June 2011 one week placement I wrote two feature articles and conducted interviews and vox pops for news. I also attended a coroner’s inquest. Somerset Country Gazette, Taunton May 2011 one week placement My article made the page-3 lead and the front-page lead for its local sister paper, The Star. I also wrote numerous smaller articles.

Film Photography I own multiple film cameras and run a WordPress blog called Exposed to Film for those interested in film photography: Sports I play for Cardiff University Ladies Football Sunday team and was captain for the Cardiff University Ladies Football 1st team for two consecutive years during my undergraduate studies. Music I am self-taught on the guitar and play the drums (Grade 3), piano (Grade 5) and violin (Grade 4). I frequently go to gigs and music concerts.
