I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Mr. Girish Chandra Tripathi.

I have had the distinct pleasure of having Mr. Girish Chandra Tripathi as a faculty and professional at BSA College of Engineering& Technology, Mathura respectively. In order to achieve the good grades and my deepest regards, he has demonstrated outstanding leadership and maintained a clear sense of purpose. The academics at BSA College of Engineering& Technology, transmission performance, and new optical signal generation and detection technologies, including binary differential phase shift keying (DPSK), differential quadrature phase shift keying (DQPSK), and dual-polarization quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM)/digital coherent receiving arise for the necessary trans-oceanic reach. Digital coherent transmission technologies represent the most recent dramatic technology breakthrough in optical communications, where optical signals are detected using coherent receivers, digitized with high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and further processed for signal recovery using digital signal processing (DSP) technologies. It has been shown that digital coherent receiving-based optical transmission systems are able to adopt sophisticated optical signal modulation formats, and show very high tolerance to the fiber chromatic dispersion (CD), polarization mode dispersion (PMD), and other linear distor- tions. Digital coherent optical communication Technology has been popular for 100 Gb/s terrestrial optical systems, and is being investigated for practical 100 Gb/s trans-oceanic optical communications. Toward 100 Gb/s trans-oceanic optical communications, there have been various advanced key technologies proposed and investigated. In this article, we first review the general architecture and working principles of a typical digital coherent optical communication system. Afterward, we review some of the key advanced technologies expected to play a critical role in 100 Gb/s digital coherent submarine communication systems, including fiber nonlinearity compensation using DSP, soft-decision forward error correction (FEC) using low density

. We discuss the application of dualpolarization QPSK modulation and digital coherent receiving. and advanced DSP algorithms.parity check coding (LDPC).
