• OBJECTIVE
- To test the functionality of the program by representation
in LAD.

• PROCEDURE
1. Equipments such as CPU PLC and USB cable has been
taken and connected to the computer.
2. The PLC wiring has been drawn.
3. After that, the schematic diagram has been converted to
PLC diagram. The program has been written in LAD.
4. Next, SIMATIC MANAGER program has been opened and
setup on the computer.
5. Then, the program has been setup in LAD first. The LAD
diagram has been written in computer.
6. Next, the program has been downloaded into the PLC
monitor with the monitor in STOP switch condition.
7. After that, the monitor has been changed to the RUN
switch condition. Then, the functionality of the program
has been tested.

Working Operation:

S1 activate Red lamp ‘ON’.


S2 activate Red lamp ‘OFF’ & ‘ON’.
S3 activate Yellow lamp ‘OFF’ & Green lamp is
‘ON’.
S4 activate System shut down.
Press S1, S2, and S3 again then since S3 is press, re-press S1,
S2, and S3 to make the cycle operation. Then press S4 to shut
down the program.

The program will start again with press S1, S2, S3 and then
press S1, S2, S3 again continuously. Press S4 to shut down the
program.

• CONCLUSION

 The working operation is same either use the LAD


programming or MEMORY FUNCTION programming.
The easy to use is MEMORY FUNCTION programming
because it saves time to create it and also save the
space in build the network to draw the diagram.

 When we press SET, the program will set the lamp
will ON. Then, when we press RESET, the program
will reset the lamp will OFF.
